Permits Required
A permit must be obtained for all construction including repairs, renovations, additions, plumbing and demolition as well as the installation of swimming pools, fences, recreational structures, surface coverage, generators, air conditioners, and other mechanical equipment.

Contractors
All contractors are required to submit their:
- Nassau County Consumer Affairs License
- Insurance of Liability (Village must be certificate holder and additionally insured)
- Workers Compensation (Village must be certificate holder)
REQUIRED PROOF OF WORKERS COMPENSATION INSURANCE
INSURED (C-105.2 OR U-26.3)
SELF-INSURED (SI-12)
EXEMPT (WC/DB-100 OR WC/DB-101)
Contractors must supply any and all of their sub-contractors' insurances as well.
Plumbers
All contractors are required to submit their
- Town of Hempstead, Town of North Hempstead or Town of Oyster Bay Reciprocal license
- Certificate of Competency
- Insurance of Liability (Village must be certificate holder and additionally insured)
- Workers Compensation (Village must be certificate holder)
